San Francisco, CA — (Business Wire) February 24, 2005 — Fabrinet, an engineering and electromechanical manufacturing services company, announced the appointment of Mark Christensen to its Board of Directors, effective March 1, 2005. Mr. Christensen is a veteran of the technology industry, having spent over twenty years with Intel Corporation in various general management, venture investing and engineering roles. Prior to his recent departure from Intel, Mark was Corporate Vice President, Intel Capital and Director of the Mobile and Communications Sectors. In this role he managed all Intel's external investments in mobile and communications companies.

Mr. Christensen has a BS in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Oregon State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Oregon Executive MBA program. He is a two time winner of the Intel Corporation Achievement Award, Intel's highest level of achievement.
