Thailand - Saying Hello

Sawadee-SmallThe phrase "sawadee," accompanied by the greeter's palms cupped together, fingers pointing up in front of the heart, is the traditional greeting in Thailand. How should you respond?

Thai Demons - Kinnarakinnara

Kinnara - This "demon" is a half-man, half-bird mythical race of the Himavanta forest,
an enchanted forest found in Hinduism and Buddhism mythology.  The female version,
with a fair maiden's face and chest and a swan's legs and torso, centaur style, is
 more commonly seen.
